Bio

Tammy Carter begins her first year as the Head Women’s Golf Coach at FGC. Coach Carter has over 30 year's experience in the golf industry as a player, pro and coach.

As a player, she competed with the Columbia High School Girl's Golf Team from 1996 to 2000, where she was a three-time Florida State Girls Champion in 1998, 1999, and 2000. She is also a member of the CHS Athletic Hall of Fame. Following high school, Tammy played on the FUTURES Professional Golf Tour from 2001 to 2003.

Carter is a certified LPGA Teaching and Club Pro at Quail Heights CC, providing lessons and Junior Golf Camps to budding golfers. Tammy has a passion for golf and truly enjoys sharing her knowledge and love of the game with others.

One of Tammy’s favorite things in life is being a mom to her three children, Payton, Karlee and Clint. In her spare time, you can find her out on the course playing some friendly family rounds with the kids or on a baseball field watching her son.
